Silk N Classy Barber College located in Dolton, IL was founded in August of 1999 and our mission is not only to educate individuals in the profession of Barbering, but to support our youth and community by donating our services throughout the year. Our biggest event is held every August and that is when we provide our annual Back to School Free Haircut Event which is referred to as “Barberthon”. This year our event will be held on Sunday 8/17/14 from 12:00pm until 5:00pm and this will be our 14th consecutive year hosting this event. Our barber students, professional barbers, and alumni donate their time and talents for this event and over 350 haircuts are received each year.
