Florida Gov. Rick Scott (R) signed an executive order Monday declaring a state of emergency in all of Florida’s 67 counties in order to assist those evacuated from Puerto Rico following Hurricane Maria, his office said.

Gunman kills at least 58, injures more than 500 at Las Vegas concert in deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history

A gunman fired on a crowd of concertgoers from a highrise hotel on the Las Vegas Strip Sunday night, killing scores. Police say the suspect, identified as 64-year-old Stephen Paddock, killed himself as SWAT teams descended on his room. A motive is not yet known.
