It didn’t take long for Kevin’s Hart new movie ‘Night School’ to become the box office number one comedy of the year. The movie which co-stars Tiffany Haddish, brought in $28 million dollars in it’s opening weekend. That made it not only the top movie for the weekend, but also the highest grossing comedy of the year. “The people are going and the people are loving it,” Hart said in a video posted on Instagram. “Thank you to everyone that has seen Night School and who will See Night Shool [sic]. Much Love!” Haddish said in a separate post on Instagram.

Baton Rouge police have made an arrest in connection with the shooting death of LSU basketball player Wayde Sims.
According to Baton Rouge police Chief Murphy Paul, Dyteon Simpson 20, was taken in custody and admitted to shooting Sims. “Simpson was questioned and admitted to being in possession of a weapon, admitting to being on the scene and admitted to shooting Wayde as well,” Paul stated.
