3 Steps to Dream Body

dream body 21. Stop talking–Martin Luther King didn’t fight for civil right by making a lot of speeches, boycotting those buses was action, marching was action,  if you spend most of your workout watching other people, joking around, flirting with people in the gym, guess what you haven’t burned 1 calorie.  The person with your dream body is in the gym with an agenda!  The key word here is focus!  3,500 calories in a pound of fat, you need 2 burn 300-500 a workout to lose 1lb of fat a week.  So instead of just running your mouth, try running on the treadmill.

2.Don’t be intimidated–Martin Luther King would get rocks and bottles thrown at his head, death threats everyday and he still would stay the course.  If another women tells me she’s afraid of doing certain exercises or using certain equipment because she doesn’t want anyone 2 make fun of her I don’t know what I’m going to do.  Guys are no better, only wanting to bench press or arm curl, because those exercises are easiest for them.   Variety is the key 2 results with any exercise program.  You can do any exercise or workout that anyone else can do, just believe you can.

3. Challenge yourselfMartin Luther King sang a song “we shall overcome”, but to overcome you need an obstacle!  Make your workouts tougher every week!    Sign-up for a 5k race, come to one of my bootcamps, marathon, triathlon, etc..  Or even challenge a friend to a weight loss contest.  The human body has been proven to not have limitations, so why not tap into that reality.  Martin Luther King would always have a new goal after winning one, “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere”  MLK.  Lift a little bit heavier weight; go a little faster on the treadmill or bike at a higher level.  If you won’t do it for you, do it for the dream!  The Dream Body!
