5 Healthy After School Tips

So its back to school time but a parents job is never done, you still have to feed these little monsters.  Snacks are a must for growing children.  They provide fuel and energy for a child to make it through their day.  The problem as parents is that we must understand that snack doesn’t equate to a free-for-all.  My friend Krystal is sending her kids back to school this week and asked me what is a good snack for her kids to eat when they come home from school?  When dealing with children always focus on fiber.  Fiber is what keeps kids healthy and regular (i.e. Apples, Berries, Pears, Bananas Green Peas, Carrots, Whole Wheat Bread) .
