A recent investigation at the University of Mississippi Medical Center has come up with the possibility that bodies may be buried underneath the grounds of their campus. From 1855 to 1935, the land that they call now their home belong to the state’s first mental institution. And it seems that when the patients from the facility died they were buried at the facilities cemetery. Over 7,000 bodies are believed to still be buried on the land.
