ABC Responds to Raven-Symoné Petition After 120,000 Signatures

“Raven Symone has been spouting her ignorant and self hating spiel on the view for Long enough, from stating that she wouldn’t hire somebody for having a ghetto name, to openly complaining about reverse racism, the final straw was her comment about the recent viral video of the school police officer assaulting the student, where Raven Symone said “get off your phone in school then.”

Well, ABC confirmed that Raven isn’t going anywhere and they think she’s an awesome addition to the panel and great for ratings controversial and compelling discussions:

A spokesperson for ABC tells E! News:

“We love Raven.”

“She is confident, genuine and opinionated, all qualities that make her a great addition to the panel.”

Raven wouldn’t be the first panelist to face backlash over her unpopular opinions. Rosie O’ Donnell and Elizabeth Hasselbeck were also former hosts who made headlines because of opinions expressed on the show that prides itself on being a place where “real women discuss everyday issues, share their opinions and engage in colorful conversations.”

Even when it was initially announced that Raven would be a co-host, she was clear that viewers wouldn’t always like what she had to say:

“Some people might not agree with me and some people will but we know how to talk to each other in a respectful way so that everybody gets their point across and there’s no cutthroat conversation.”

Sorry folks, but it looks like Raven and her colorful hair and even more colorful opinions are here to stay.
