After Backlash, Trump Changes His Tune on White Supremacists

On Monday, President Trump specifically called out groups that were involved in the violence in Charlottesville Virginia. Speaking from Washington, Trump said that  “We must rediscover the bonds of love and loyalty that bring us together as Americans. Racism is evil. Those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs including the KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and other hate groups that are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans.” Initially, Trump caught flak for not calling out the names of the groups involved in the melee.
