This year, Jordan Peele made his directorial debut with Get Out, a brilliant thriller comedy that critics have called one of the best social commentaries on race in recent years. It was also successful as hell. As of this week, the film has crossed the $150 million mark at the domestic box office and made Peele the most successful debut black director in history. With a $5 million budget, the film is on track to make about $165-$170 million.
