Album Review: K. Noble: Life Lessons of the Noble

K. Noble has lyrical skills and sounds good on a slow tempo, and soulful beats. The downsides of his artistry are he doesn’t change his flow and his content is not always suitable for the beats he selects. Songs like Still Precious and Pursuit of Success are decent, but I wasn’t that fond of the hooks on the tracks. Tracks like Freedom Fighter and College Degree sums up the theme of the album. Which is primarily his frustration with the deception of our government and the failed promises of our country. He speaks from the perspective of a young Black man who has done the things society teaches us to do but is frustrated by the results.

Unfortunately, a lack of diversity in his flow and mundane beats makes his message repetitive and boring. The minimum creativity on the album doesn’t give you the incentive to go to the next track. Songs like Stay Alive and Home Sweet Home are decent, but in general, the album doesn’t grab your attention or overwhelm you. Overall, I give Life Lesson of the Noble a D on my report card grades. In time, I see him developing a better flow to go with his content and lyrics but it is not happening on this album.
