One of the hardest things to be successful at is being an independent or ‘aspiring’ rapper. Speaking from experience, it takes a lot of dedication and perseverance to continue to make music no one may listen to. Along the way, you get a lot of doubters, who question your motive and reasoning. You have to make sacrifices that not only affect your life but those around you. Despite this, you continue to pursue and continue to grind, because “it’s not about the money; it’s about the love.” This is my definition of persistence, a word used for the title of Mr. P Chill’s new album.
