According to a new report from The Blast, Swizz was hit with a lawsuit from Metro Gem Leasing back in September 2017 as well as Alicia’s management company, AK Worldwide Productions. The $16.5 million suit accuses the super producer of reselling or fraudulently using luxury cars leased in his name – including a $155,000 Range Rover and $600,000 Ferrari F12.
Metro Gem claims that Swizz failed to pay off the hefty leases for the vehicles and continually avoided repossession. As of November 2016, the suit accused the duo of having five leases in default. Alicia, however, is fighting back.
In a new motion filed by the singer, Alicia claims that she was not involved in the lease agreement with Metro and even pointed out that her name is not to be found anywhere on the paperwork. She is also accusing the leasing company of trying to loop her into the suit for a more profitable outcome.
Additionally, Swizz has filed a separate motion to dismiss the case altogether and is accusing Metro of also trying to squeeze money from him due to his public status.
