What do you think makes California hip hop music unique from the hip hop coming out from the rest of the country today?
The diversity. Without even mentioning the Bay Area, there are so many different types of hip hop artists in So Cal. Backpackers, trap rap, gangster rap and so on. Adding the Bay Area talent only further diversifies California’s hip hop scene.
