I got upset after finding out that the Chicago Police Department and Chicago’s Business Affair and Consumer Protection cancelled a recent show for G Herbo in Chicago. This is the second time within a month that G Herbo was scheduled to headline a show in Chicago and the powers that be cancelled it. The first was the Takeover Jam, a popular annual concert sponsored by Chicago powerhouse radio station WGCI and its parent company iHeartRadio. The second was a scheduled show tomorrow at Chicago’s Vic Theatre. The promoter of the show Peter Jideonwo of Pete’s House said he try to compromise and talk to city officials, but they haven’t budge.  “Everybody needs to sit down and have a conversation on how to proceed with throwing shows,” he said “The kids need something to do, and you’re telling the kids they need to stay off the street and ‘don’t do this, don’t do that.” he continued.
