Is there a specific lady out there who’s responsible for the song “Kiss”? Is she aware of the song? How did she react?

Yes, there is a specific lady that has great kisses who made it easier to reflect and write this song. I haven’t told her she inspires the song yet because we haven’t talked in a while. I’d like to think she’d give me a kiss once she finds out. Her kisses are awesome and the ones I remember most were when she’d just like catch me totally off guard. I’d be talking to somebody and she would kiss me from the blind side on my cheek. I’d look over and see her, which was totally awesome. Great kissers are awesome for relationships.

When can we expect an album and what will the flavor be?

Expect a game-shifting body of work towards summertime. Maybe late April or early May for release. The flavor of this project will be like a blue or red airhead. I say that because the music is sweet, doesn’t cost an arm and leg (“Kiss” the single on iTunes now for 99 cents), and will leave an impression on you just like when your mouth turns blue or red, depending on which color airhead you eat. The music will feel just right for the summertime, the sounds will be bright, bouncy, and raw, and draw you in. It’s good music for your ears. RollWitAWinna Volume 1 is the title.

How do you prefer to write songs? Do you have some kind of ritual or custom that you follow?

I close my eyes and open my mind to all possibilities. Usually, the Ouiji board helps me as I try to channel the spirit of Bob Marley and Michael Jackson to my writing session. That was a joke but I could use their energy. My ritual is feeling the track out by gathering a melody and trying to pick a concept to write about the song. Right now I have two beats that I didn’t write to yet because I don’t have a concept and haven’t found a flow. It will come through.

What’s your favorite song of all time and why?

That’s a cool question. Right now off top, I will go with Biggie, “Juicy”. That joint seems like it was flawless in making, meaning, it just flowed. He acknowledged his story from nothing to something and shouted out to his doubters just to let them know he’s on now and it’s all good. Plus the original song they sampled is amazing. I gave you a rap song as a rapper. This is a very hard question, so I have to mention Robb Base’s “It Takes Two” also. The beat was crazy and the flow was too. I can talk about songs I really like all day. You got “Tom’s Diner” which is incredible as well as “Sweet Dreams” by the Eurythmics. But “Juicy” is the one.
