Big Gipp Talks About J. Cole, Soul Food Album and Rappers Trying to Fit In

Fine wine, beautiful women, and iconic cars. Some things are just timeless; and that includes classic music. In 1995, Goodie Mob dropped their incredible album Soul Food and made their mark within the history of Hip Hop. According to group member Big Gipp, they had no idea what it would become, because they were rapping about their life and wasn’t trying to fit in. I got a chance to talk more abotu that album with Gipp. I also talked about the climate of the music and the artists in today’s Hip Hop landscape. Check out the interview below.
