The amazing story of the Black investors who recently bought a Georgia town may be the subject of a reality show. According to Shadow and Act via TMZ, several production companies have reached out to the 19 Black families who bought 95 acres of land and called it Freedom. HGTV, Lifetime, Oxygen, and A&E, are some the outlets that are interested in the story of how Freedom will turn out.

Despite the opportunity to be televised, the families do not want to get on TV unless the selected outlet meets their demands during the production. The founders are demanding that they own the show’s content and how the content is aired. They also want to control the show’s editing process because they don’t want to be exploited by the media.
