Cypress Hill’s first album went double platinum. Their second album went triple platinum. Their third album went platinum and their fourth album went gold. They don’t get enough credit in Hip Hop circles because by time their fifth album came out, they drifted into Hip Hop/metal music. I also think there is a slight prejudice towards them being Latin and being labeled a stoner group. Despite sometimes being overlooked, they have dope music and are one of the most successful groups of all time.
