Since I’m being honest here; I’m going to say I’m not a big fan of James Harden game. And that’s putting it kindly. When I think of his game, I think of Brandon Armstrong’s parody video of him making exaggerated moves to the bucket.

I’m not quite sure why I harbor these feelings towards his skills. Especially since I’m a lefty and tend to take a liking towards southpaw players. With that being said, I still can’t deny he is an elite scorer and the top two guard in the league. Even though I think he makes a lot of passes after he decides not to shoot. He still averages 6 dimes and 6 rebounds a game. Plus he is a slightly above average defender when he wants to be.

Jimmy Butler

2015-16 Season

I was this close to putting Toronto Raptor guard DeMar DeRozen at this slot. The fact the list came out a little bit after the season started, made me go with Butler. I’m from Chicago and I get a chance to see a little more of the Bulls games than other teams. And one sticking point I wanted to see from JB was consistency. This makes it a great time to point out that I also factored in what a player has done throughout their career when deciding this list. That’s why we put up career stats, in addition to the current season stats. Some players perform great in a contract year and then fall off. Some players be giving people the business their whole life and get injured and have to slowly come back. Butler hasn’t been this great his whole career, but for the past two seasons; he has been the best two way player this side of Kawhi Leonard.
