Bumble Bee tuna recalled due to possible contamination at packing plant

Bumble Bee Foods is voluntarily recalling 31,500 cans of specific codes of 5oz Chunk Light Tuna in water and oil, due to process deviations which may have left them vulnerable to spoilage by organism or pathogens which occurred in a co-pack facility. All items bear codes beginning with “T” (such as TOA2BSCADB) and have “best used by” dates for February 2019. The company added that it does not own or operate the facility where the “possible under-processing” occurred.
