California Wildfire Update: Deadliest in State History and Only 30 Percent Contained

The death toll has rose to 42 bodies in the midst of California’s Wildfire. The fatalities exceeds the record for the amount of people dying from a wildfire in state history (29).  A Monday update from California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection said the fire has burned through 117,000 acres of land and is only 30 percent contained. Officials have predicted that the blaze may continue through the end of the month. To read more about this story click here.
