It’s not Easter but the Passover they are trying to cross you up on
Jesus came to die for the sins of the people, which was his purpose and mission on Earth. He was the Passover lamb.
“Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened, For Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us.” (Corinthians 5:7)
Easter has nothing to do with the Passover and yet the whole world runs after Easter. The Passover is one of the Lord’s feast days.
“These are the feast of the Lord, even holy convocation, which ye shall proclaim in their season. In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the Lord’s Passover.” (Leviticus 23:5)
“Observe the month of Abib, and keep the Passover unto the Lord thy God: for in the month of Abib the Lord thy God brought thee forth out of Egypt by night.” (Deuteronomy 16:1)
“This month shall be unto you the beginning of months, it shall be the first month of the year.” (Exodus 12:2)
