Jesus Will Sit On the Throne of David in Jerusalem
When Jesus came to earth as savior he came to Jerusalem and started his work and ministry; why? It was prophesied that he would come unto his own of the tribe of Israel; the people who were the apple of his eye. He was born in Bethlehem of Judea as the Lamb of God. It is foretold that his next coming he will be The Lion of the Tribe of Judah. He is coming to earth to take over because mans ways have brought a stench of sin to his nostrils. The world has forgotten about who shall rule with a rod of iron and his name is Jesus.
“He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David” (Luke 1:32)
David’s throne is no other place than Jerusalem. God had made this promise to David; that promise was that his seed would sit upon his throne. That throne is on earth, not in heaven; and his promise was for Jesus the coming Messiah and King.
“I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build a house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever“ (Samuel II 7; 12-13)
