Calvin’s Undisputed Truth: Slavery Instituted By God Not the White Man

Israel (Black People) becomes slaves in Egypt way before they got to North America

Joseph’s brothers and father remained with him in Egypt until there death. As a result of Jacob and his children being present in the land, Israel created a whole generation of people who resided in Egypt.

“Who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? did not the Lord, he against whom we have sinned? for they would not walk in his ways, neither were they obedient unto his law.”  (Isaiah 42:24)

Unfortunately for Israel, a new Pharaoh arose in Egypt who wasn’t familiar with them; so he oppressed them. He set taskmasters over them to afflict them with their burdens; the Egyptians made Israel serve with rigor. Their bondage bitterly consisted of being fieldsmen, serving in brick and mortar.

This was slavery in Ancient Egypt. The Israelite slave built cities in Egypt, Pithom and Raamses. In addition to their labor, the Israelites endured genocide. A decree was made by the Egyptians to kill all the male babies. Consequently when Moses (who was Israelite) was born, he had to be hidden in Pharaohs house because his mother feared for his life. Pharaoh’s daughter took Moses as her child when she drew him from the river brink. When Moses grew up, he killed a man who he saw killed his Hebrew brethren. He had to flee from Egypt after that and went to the land of Midian.

“Now when Pharaoh heard this thing, he sought to slay Moses, But Moses fled from the face of Pharaoh, and dwelt in the land of Midian: and sat down by a well.” (Exodus 2:15)
