Open Mic at barbershop provides much needed outlet

Wednesday nights on Chicago’s West Side has been transformed into a Hip Hop Hooray of some sorts with the creation of an Open Mic Jam Session at ITC Barbershop. Located in Chicago at 5429 west Madison Street, barbershop Owner T-Mann has combined his wisdom, entrepreneurship skills, and his love for the Hip Hop culture to create, a thriving business and a platform for aspiring artists and music lovers. We caught up with him while conducting his event with Jack DANIELS called Jack-N- For- Beats competition. He explained his business philosophy, his aspirations and his motivation for coming up with a hip hop night at his barbershop.
