Grammy award singer Chris Brown has been accused of striking a woman in his Los Angeles home. A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department told NBC News that on Tuesday officers responded to a report of an argument at a residence in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles.
No injuries were reported but according to TMZ, the woman alleged that Brown smacked her in the head and made her hair weave to fall out.
Brown, 32 has had a few incidents with the law that involved physical abuse against women. In 2009, he was arrested for physically assaulting singer Rihanna, who was his girlfriend at the time. He pleaded completed probation in 2015 for that charge.
In 2017, another ex-girlfriend of Brown, model and actress Karrueche Tran, was granted a five-year restraining order against him. In 2018, two of his associates was accused of sexually assaulting a woman at his Los Angeles mansion.
And in 2019, he was detained in Paris on aggravated rape and drug charges, but later was released.
