The groups are calling their initiative the “Stop Hate for Profit” campaign. They have been successful in persuading other social media outlets to ban Trump from their platform. Facebook, Twitter and Snap Inc blocked Trump after his supporters invading the U.S. Capitol last week. YouTube is the only major outlet that hasn’t banned Trump.
“We join in with our coalition partners and ask that YouTube act decisively to help stop the spread of hate by shutting Trump’s account down,” said the NAACP in a statement to Reuters. To read more about this story click here
