According to vladtv.com, Smithsonian Museum’s curator Damion Thomas told USA Today that he expects Colin Kapernick’s jersey to be showcased in the museum. The erection of the exhibit will likely be credited to University of California Berkeley professor of sociology Harry Edwards. The professor donated a lot of Kapernick’s memorabilia to the museum in 2016 and encouraged them to acknowledge the significance of Colin’s stance.  “Ali created a conversation…. “The same thing with Kaepernick. He sparked a national conversation about race.”Edwards said. What do you think? Do you agree that Colin Kaepernick’s protest had the same impact as Ali protesting the Vietnam war?
