Eddie Murphy is on the verge of making the kind of comeback fans of the 56-year-old comedian can appreciate. Following a year of developments on his return via a fourth installation of the Beverly Hills Cop series, word got around that a sequel to Coming To America might be in the works. The rumor was actually started when in March, Murphy himself, tweeted an image of actress Vanessa Bell Calloway that bore a caption reading, “Coming to America sequel?” This week the imminence of a part-two to the 80’s classic received a confirmation with the naming of the film’s director and screenwriter.
