CTA riders can take buses and trains for free for six hours on New Year’s Eve, MillerCoors announced Monday.

The CTA and MillerCoors inked the three-year, $1.3 million deal in 2012. The offer lasts from 10 p.m. New Year’s Eve to 4 a.m. New Year’s Day.

The CTA has long offered a penny rides program, but no pennies are required to pay fares this year. MillerCoors is the first company to sponsor this program.

The CTA has said about 150,000 rides have been logged on the holiday.

Separately, MillerCoors also announced Monday that it will be giving out $1 million in $10 vouchers for Hailo, a taxi hailing service. Chicagoans can get a discount code by visiting participating bars from Dec. 2 to Jan. 5.
