There has been a lot of tributes in remembrance of late comedian Charlie Murphy. Family, Friends and Fans around the world having been paying respects to the entertainer who lost his battle with Leukemia at age 57. But this one particular tribute from Dave Chappelle might be the most touching. Because even though Charlie Murphy was known as a comedian, actor and older brother of Eddie Murphy. He probably is the most recognizable for his skits on the Dave Chappelle show. “I called Prince to ask him to be part of the sketch and he said no.” Chappelle said while reminiscing on Charlie Murphy’s stories on Prince and Rick James. Join on stage with John Mayer who mentioned that habitual line stepper has become a saying that he says all the time. That saying along with lines like I’m Rick James bitch have made their way from Murphy’s sketch up to lexicon of pop culture. After talking about their times with Charlie Murphy on the Chappelle show, Mayer and Dave dedicated a song to their friend. Check out the video below.
