Debra Lee Will “Take a Step Back from Day to Day Responsibilities at BET” and Step Down as President of Network

Starting Jan. 1st, Debra Lee will step down as the acting president of the BET network. She will continue to serve as chairman and CEO of the network, but said she believed “it is the right time to take a step back from day-to-day responsibilities at BET.” Scott M. Mills who has been executive vice president and chief administrative officer at BET’s parent company, Viacom, since 2015, is set to take her place. To read more about this story click here.
