Chicago Bulls star Derrick Rose is facing some criticism from fans and supporters following an Interview with ESPN’s Neil Friedell. When speaking on how he feels about injuries and his body the Chicago native said “I know a lot of people get mad when they see me sit out or whatever, but I think a lot of people don’t understand that when I sit out it’s not because of this year. I’m thinking about long term. I’m thinking about after I’m done with basketball. Having graduations to go to, having meetings to go to, I don’t want to be in my meetings all sore or be at my son’s graduation all sore just because of something I did in the past. (I’m) just learning and being smart.”

I personally thought the answer was honest and sincere, but it seems people caught feelings over that statement. I guess people want the boy to die on the court and have no life after basketball. It’s funny when you think about how unfair people perceptions of other people can be. But what do you think? Is D. Rose wrong for making those comments? Leave your opinion below.
