Despite their beef Drake and Kanye plan to join J. Prince his attempt to get Larry Hoover release from Prison

Since his incarceration, there has been a push to get him released from prison.

One of his strongest advocates has been Hip Hop mogul J. Prince. The CEO recently posted a photo of him with Kanye and Larry Hoover’s family. In the caption, he states “IF YOU FAIL TO PLAN YOU PLAN TO FAIL. Good plans in the making to free our brother Larry Hoover with the support of @champagnepapi and @kanyewest #TheArtandScienceOfRespect. To be continued.”

The inclusion of Kanye West should not be surprising. The Chicago artist also has been part of the push to free Hoover. He spoke on Hoover’s behalf while visiting Trump in the White House in 2018.  “There’s infinite amounts of the universe and there’s alternate universe,” Kanye said at the time. “So it’s very important for me to get Hoover out because in an alternate universe, I am him and I have to go and get him free.

“Because he was doing positive inside Chicago just like I’m moving back to Chicago, and it’s not just about, you know, getting on stage and being an entertainer and having a monolithic voice that’s forced to be a specific part.”

It is not clear what Drake’s role will be, but it is kind of surprising that he will join Kanye in an effort to do anything. The two artists have been having well-publicized rap beef that has been up and down throughout the years.  Recently it has been on and popping between the two, with Kanye releasing Drake’s home address on social media. Drake also threw some shots at Ye on his new album and also leaked an unreleased Kanye song featuring Andre 3000 where Ye was talking about Drake.

There has been no public resolution to their differences, but maybe a common cause will smooth over some of their problems.
