Yesterday in Chicago, (07.07.18) hundreds of protestors gather on the Dan Ryan expressway to march against violence in the city of Chicago. One of the organizers and feature faces of the anti-violence march was Father Michael Plfeger. The 69 year old senior pastor at St. Sabina church on Chicago’s south side was also involved in a student walk out in March of this year that was centered around anti-violence. ‘We’re tired of the damn violence in Chicago,'” Plfeger said after the march. “We want the governor, the mayor, the elected officials and the community all to come together and say, ‘We want peace now.'” he continued.
