Serena Williams gained her first singles victory since giving birth to her daughter three years ago. The tennis legend beat Jessica Pegula 6-3, 6-4 on Sunday to win at the ASB Classic. “It feels good. It’s been a long time,” Williams said. Serena donated her $43,000 winner’s check to the fundraising appeal for victims of Australian wildfires. President Trump sent out a tweet praising Williams: “Congratulations to @serenawilliams on another big win. She is a great player and an even greater person.
