Four weeks into the Trump presidency, the electorate is learning that Trump is following through on promises that many dismissed as campaign-trail hyperbole: his proposed border wall is in the process of being designed, and although commentators on the right staunchly maintain that his short-lived immigration executive order was not a Muslim ban, prior to the election Trump was upfront about his vision of a United States closed to Muslim immigrants.
Now it looks like Trump is making good on his promise to further militarize police presence in Chicago. A video circulating on social media shows military style vehicles making their way through the streets of the city, manned by helmeted, body-armored troops. View the video above.
