Backstage at a benefit concert for the youth in Chicago, I caught up with both of the members of the Chicago group Elite Society. Dominic and Dale (pronounced Da-lay) talked about how they are using their music and influence to help make a change in their community and society as a whole.

Black Truth News: What is Elite Society all about?
Elite Society (Dominic): We are from Chicago, but we are also global because we got family all over the place. We do get a chance to travel and basically, our music is about corresponding with the people and community. We aim to be leaders and use our music as an avenue to educate people. Bring consciousness back to the Black man with some new flavor.
