ESPN College Football Reporter Edward Aschoff Dies after a Brief Illness at the age of 34

ESPN made a sad announcement that their colleague Edward Aschoff passed away at the age of 34. Aschoff started at ESPN in 2011 at the SEC blog network. Since then he has reported on SportsCenter, SEC Network and ESPN radio. It is not known exactly how Aschoff died, but on December 2nd he went on Instagram and said that he contracted pneumonia. “We are very sorry to have to share the devastating news of the tragic passing of friend and ESPN colleague Edward Aschoff,” ESPN said in their statement. “He died earlier today, his 34th birthday. Our thoughts are with his loved ones, including his fiancĂ©e, Katy.”
