Recently the family of Oscar Grant had a news conference in regards to his death over a decade ago. They stated that they want another charge in his murder. Their request is based on an independent report and a video showing former officer Anthony Pirone hitting Grant in the head and kneeing him on the Fruitvale BART station platform in 2009.
