Gregory and Travis McMichael, the father and son who shot Ahmaud Arbery in 2020 have been found guilty of murder. A Georgia jury deliberated for 10 hours before they decided that two should be charged with the crime. They also charged their neighbor William “Roddie” Bryan Jr. who assisted the McMicheals in the crime. Bryan Jr was found guilty of felony murder, aggravated assault, and false imprisonment.
The three men now face a maximum sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole.
