First Black Muslim Judge Found Floating in Hudson River but Officials Said It Was “No Foul Play”

Judge Sheila Abdus-Salaam, 65 was found dead in the Hudson river a day after husband reported her missing. She was the first Black woman to serve on New York’s highest court. Officials said it was no “foul play” but why would a healthy woman of her stature be found floating in the river? Did she have mental issues? Was she suicidal?
