Footage of Protest Against the Killing of Harith “Snoop” Augustus in Chicago Shows Black Cop Being Too Overzealous With Baton

First thing I want to do is shout out Chicago Sun-Times reporter Nader Issa. His footage, photos and reporting on the protests of the police killing of Harith “Snoop” Augustus provided useful information to me and I’m sure other people as well. One of the things I noticed while looking at the videos on his twitter feed was the actions of a Black police officer. This CPD officer who was one of the police assigned on the streets of South Shore to calm down and diffuse the situation between the cops and the police only made it worse.
