Sam Hayes, former security manager for Atlanta Hawks at Phillips Arena claims that Black artists were mistreated when performing at the arena. According to Hiphopdx via TMZ, Hayes accused Hawks management of requiring acts like Kanye West and the Migos to go through metal detectors. On the other hand, acts like Adele and Ariana Grande were not. Representatives for the Hawks have called the claims false and stated it will defend their position.
