A California judge ruled in favor of singer Frank Ocean in civil lawsuit against him from his father. Ocean was accused of hindering his father Calvin Cooksey of financial opportunities in film in music after stating that his Cooksey once called a transgender waitress a anti-gay slur. Cooksey sued his son for 14,5 million dollars but lost after the courts stated that he “failed to meet the necessary elements to make his defamation claim.” To read more about this story click here.
