Toronto oncologist Dr. Theepa Sundaralingam was stripped of her license after having sex with one of her patients. In 2015, Theepa diagnosed one of her patients with cancer. The next day after the diagnosis, she gave him her phone number and Instagram information. Over a course of few months, she developed a relationship and became intimate with him. That relationship turned into the doctor having sex with the patient on his hospital bed while he was getting treated for his illness. “From virtually the beginning of your doctor/patient relationship, you crossed boundaries and ultimately sexually abused an extremely vulnerable patient suffering from a life-threatening illness,” said John Langs of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario To read more about this story click here.
