Legendary Hip Hop group was inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame on Friday. The group were dressed in their traditional black colors were introduced by Kendrick Lamar. During their acceptance speech they took the time to respond to Gene Simmons, the lead singer of the rock band Kiss. Simmons made comments that suggested that Hip Hop artists should not be included in the RRHOF. This prompted Ice Cube to say “Rock ‘n’ roll is not conforming to the people who came before you but creating your own path in music and in life,” he said. “That is rock ‘n’ roll and that is us.” Click here to read more about this story.
