The Houston Texans are not being disciplined by the NFL for their handling of a concussion suffered by quarterback Tom Savage during a game earlier this month. But the league and NFL Players Association have enacted a series of modifications to the sport’s concussion protocols in reaction to what they call an “unacceptable” outcome in Savage’s case.
