This will be my most controversial weight loss suggestion.  People really want to lose weight and even more than weight they really want to lose fat and they want a secret.  Well I’ve been giving this suggestion for years but finally science is catching up.  To lose weight you have to…..Eat less food or maybe not eat at all!  Many of us eat so much food we need to not EAT AT ALL on a regular basis!  When you suggest to a person 200lbs over weight that they should stop eating, they first becoming offended, then they explain to you how they don’t want to starve to death!  For the record Food has always been a driving force in my life: If I’m not eating it, I’m plotting to eat, and never do I diet.  I say that to let everyone know I understand where you are coming from.  Intermittent fasting is the ancient secret of health. It is ancient because it has been practiced throughout all of human history.  It’s a secret because this powerful habit has been virtually forgotten.  An American scientist found that significantly reducing calories helped mice live longer, healthier lives.  Other  studies have also shown that decreasing calorie consumption by 30 to 40 percent (regardless of how it’s done) can extend life span by a third or more.
