What do you think about the violence in the city of Chicago?

I think it comes from a lack of resources, the kids have nowhere to go. No facilities, no jobs.
BTN:
What do you think we can do to solve that problem?
DKD:
We need to find something for the kids to do. We need jobs, we need better resources. That’s why this summer, I’m sending eight children to military school. We are fully funding them, providing them with books and tuition. So we are trying to do something to make a difference.
BTN:
Why is it important for the community to have events like the Taste of Austin, here in Chicago?
DKD:
Will get the kids something to do. It’s always good, for them to have something to do; it keeps their mind off of trouble.
